Welcome to

Your Miraculous Morning Routine!

Don’t over complicate the morning routine. Instead, think of your morning routine as a BOOST, a Power Up for your life. It sets the pace so you can accomplish your most important goals in life. 💝

Ideally, you should begin with only 5-7 things on your list. I’ve found that anything more is too much to memorize. Remember, your morning routine is there to keep your life aligned with your main goals in life. You’ll need a clean-ish environment to have the time and space to keep things running smoothly.

1.Make the bed.

Tidy the nightstands and clear the floor all around the bed. Throw away trash, gather dishes to be taken out of the room, put laundry in a basket to be carried out with you. Keep an easy to carry basket in the room to gather these items each morning. Be in the habit of taking things that don’t belong with you when you leave the room if you are done using them.

2.Loving Movement.

Before I leave my bedroom, I roll out my yoga mat and do some light stretching.

3.Take a Shower.

Head to the bathroom for a shower. Get dressed all the way down to your shoes. Brush your teeth. Put on your makeup and fix your hair. Tidy the bathroom after use: Put away cosmetics, clean the counter. Put caps and lids back on bottles and canisters. Use the toilet brush in the bowl of toilet and wipe down the toilet seat with an antibacterial wipe. Carry out the trash if it is full. Leave the bathroom ready for the next use. Grab the clothes you changed out of and head to the kitchen.

4.Start Dinner.

Head to the kitchen with dinner in mind. Take meat out that needs thawing. Start the crockpot (most things cook on low for 8 hours, high for 4 hours). While you are in there, eat some breakfast, have a cup of coffee, and tidy up the space: Wipe down the fronts of cabinet doors, clean out the sink. Empty the dishwasher. Wipe down the counters and stove, front of the oven. Sweep the floor.

5.Start a load of laundry.

You should have gathered up a decent sized load of laundry now, at least enough for a small load. Start the washing machine and sit down to relax for a minute.

6.Check for Weekly Plans/Appointments & Activities.

While you’re taking a break, rehydrate and check your calendar for the day. Check your Basic Weekly Plan to see if anything specific needs to be taken care of today.

7.Work in Current Zone.

Set your timer for 5-25 minutes. During this time, declutter and clean one room in the current zone. Start at the door/entrance and work clockwise around the room, from top (ceiling) to bottom (floor.). After you’re timer goes off, take a 5-minute break. Set your timer and work again until you are ready to quit.

These are the 5-7 steps to take each morning to get started when you feel overwhelmed, your house is completely disorganized, and you need to begin again. Just follow these simple steps, along with your Before Bed Routine, and it will take you where you need to go to start feeling better and getting your house organized and clean again. Be patient with yourself: baby steps. You can do this!
